Make a difference.

Being a leader in our community is to help those who need it most - caregivers and their loved ones.

Group Leader

Group leaders help a group of 4-7 other caregivers get the individual help and guidance they need by keeping their small group organized and running. They, along with their assistant, ensure the following:

  • Starts their small group on time twice a month, welcomes the group, and makes sure everyone gets a chance to share.

  • Creates a “group text message” where the group can stay organized and reach out for help any time.

  • Sends reminders on the group a text message reminder 1-2 hours before the group meets.

  • Accounts for group attendance and follows up with no shows.

  • Reports to their group coordinator if anyone needs help or misses two or more meetings in a row.

  • Are part of a “group leaders group” including a text message group that their coordinator is on as well.

  • Special benefits are being part of the group leaders group that meets once a month, part of the group leaders text message group, direct access to the Groups Coordinator, which is all more support you can rely on. Being a group leader helps you stay on track with the membership content and hold yourself accountable since others look to you for guidance.

Groups Coordinator

The Groups Coordinator is a powerful leader who is accountable for 4-8 group leaders, making sure their small groups run smoothly and stay organized. They ensure the following:

  • Make sure all small groups are starting on time with a group leader or assistant leader running the group.

  • Create a “group text message” for all their group leaders where group leaders can get help with anything they or their group might be dealing with.

  • Make sure all groups have good attendance and replace group members when groups get too small (reaching out to administrators as needed for replacements.)

  • Helps group leaders handle no shows and any other problems their group or group members may be having, either with direct support or by escalating issues to the administrator.

  • Are part of a “group coordinators group” and have direct access to an administrator and up to 2 other group coordinators.

  • Special benefits include direct administrator support, being an essential part of our membership program which means you are guaranteed to get ANY support you need, and free access to VIP level membership (if you are currently a VIP when becoming a groups coordinator, your monthly rate will be discounted.)

Being a groups coordinator helps you powerfully deal with any challenging behavior you come across since you are accountable for several groups consisting of anywhere from 24-64 total caregivers. You’ll learn how to deal with just about any challenging behavior that can come up in caregiving and quickly become an expert caregiver. You’ll also learn leadership and management skills by learning how to help group leaders manage their groups.

Administrator

The Administrator is the highest level of leadership who is accountable for up to 3 group coordinators, making sure the coordinators are empowered to keep all their small groups running and organized. They ensure the following:

  • Make sure all coordinators are keeping their groups running on time with GLs or Assistant GLs running their groups.

  • Create a “group text message” for all their group coordinators where coordinators can get help with anything they or their groups might be dealing with.

  • Assist group coordinators with assigning members to new groups as needed to keep all groups reasonably filled with members.

  • Create or modify Zoom rooms as needed.

  • Help handle problems with groups that group coordinators are unable to resolve, either with direct support or by escalating to staff.

  • Are part of an “administrators group” and have direct access to Dementia Success Path staff and other administrators.

  • Special benefits include direct support from Krista and staff (guaranteed to get ANY support you need), 100% free membership (VIP included), Zoom admin abilities in all zoom rooms (including monthly events like workshops) and able to create unlimited zoom rooms (which you can use for personal purposes if you’d like), and moderator abilities in the members only Facebook group.

Being an administrator is the fastest way to become an expert in dealing with challenging behaviors since you are accountable for up to 3 group coordinators who oversee groups containing up to 192 total caregivers. You’ll develop serious leadership and management skills since empowering coordinators and group leaders to solve their problems will be an essential part of what you do.
